This channel is the official chat of GameCube Café. While we are Nintendo focused, we talk about just about anything, with the only exceptions below.

1) No Dumbassdom
2) No racial or sexist slurs
3) No homophobia
4) No colors, bold, or underlining except by ops
5) Arbitrary use of scripts will not be tolerated. Keep all script use to a minimum and just because someone else uses a ping or mp3 script doesnt mean you have to also.
6) No begging for an op or a voice. The only people who will be opped are staff members, and a voice is a privelage you must earn and will ONLY be handed out by staff members to those deserving. If you ask for them you will not only not get it, but will be banned as well.
7) No advertising in your nick. If you work for another website, we don't care and neither do our chatters.
8) No asking for help getting unbanned from another channel. It's not our problem. This includes asking why you were banned in another channel.
9) No begging to be unbanned from our channel. If you were banned you will be unbanned when we are good and ready to do so.
10) No PMing ops for any reason without their expressed permission ahead of time. If an op is ignoring your PM don't bug them about it. Just because we are in the chatroom doesn't mean we have time to chat.
11) Ignoring the ops when they ask for a subject change will be a bannable offense. If we request you drop a subject, drop it.
12) No spamming, flaming, or trolling of the chat or its chatters.
13) Opinion: A personal belief that is not founded on proof or certainty. Everyone has different opinions and they are to be respected whether you agree with them or not. Just because someone doest explicitly state "In my opinion" doesn't mean it is to be taken as a fact.
14) No asking for the banning or kicking of others. This will result in the request being redirected to whomever requested it.
15) Swearing in general will be allowed, but try to keep it somewhat clean. We don't want people swearing every other word. Keep it to a minimum.
16) Flooding, as in posting several messages, usually of an offensive, rude, or off-topic nature in a short period of time, will not be tolerated at all and has a zero-tolerance policy AT ALL TIMES.
17) No discussing illegal activity. This includes ROMs and emulation, and anything that you may have downloaded that you do no have the legal rights to own.
18) Insulting a console's capabilities solely based on your opinions will not be accepted. This includes calling GameCube a "kiddy system" and insulting the graphics of a game (such as the cel-shaded look of Zelda or the "bland textures" of Mario Sunshine). Your opinions are welcome, but do not present them in a rude or disrespectful way such as "d00d, teh grfx on that gaem sux!!!11 y wud they do that?" Back up your opinions with valid points and facts.
19) All rules are in place for a reason. If you don't like them, too bad. Deal.
20) Relax and have fun. The forums and chatroom are here for YOU to have a place to discuss gaming, movies, or whatever you want with other gamers just like yourselves. Be yourself and have fun.
