irc.gccafe.com Departs (sort of)

As some of you may have noticed for the past few months there has been irc.gccafe.com and irc.gamecubecafe.com. This is because GameCube Café was transitioning between servers. The transition is now complete and the old server has been shut down. I setup irc.gamecubecafe.com to respond to requests for either irc.gccafe.com or irc.gamecubecafe.com both go through to the irc.gamecubecafe.com server.

Network Outage

The opa-ages server is currently experiencing a network outage. Linking will return to normal as soon as the network outage is fixed.

Lak says: That "currently" is no longer current. It was all good by morning. Sorry about the problems, dudes. The whole area lost power. Fun, huh?

MOVIES

Ok. You have to go to the movies. Like now. What will you see though! Well, if you want to see a good movie you could see Napoleon Dynamite, Garden State, or I <3 Huckabees. These movies are all indie, so they might be hard to find. If you get the chance to see them, go to the theater, pay the $7, and enjoy. They are very much worth it. Seriously. Go. Now.

We're Back!

After a rather prolonged absense brought forth by loss of web hosting space and my absolute uselessness as an oper, we are finally back up as a website. The current hosting should be around for quite a while now unless for some reason I stop paying my bills and the only way I'll do that is if you all keep fooling me into giving you my credit card information!!!

Anyways, sorry about the delay in getting things back up. After a rather hectic time we are finally back up and in business so fool around with the site again and update that damn cam portal.

Time for a move...

Well I have planned to move, and WhiteWinged-Angel is going with me. We will trek a thousand miles together cross-country to seek out new life and new civiliz-- wait, no, it's just for some new opportunities (got a little carried away there, sorry!).

Originally, I had planned to be leaving tonight, but events today have prevented that from being possible. So when is ww-a going to go down? Well, that's a good question. It will probably be tomorrow, but if certain things don't happen the way they are supposed to, it could be as late as Friday.

So I guess that the good news is that in this delay we have more time to get the Eryxma server (and services) back up and working. Hopefully we will be able to get that back up today. Unfortunately, the circumstances with the Eryxma server are completely out of our control and we basically just have to wait until we can get it back up again. We'll continue working on it as much as we can. Thanks for not freakin' out, dudes.

If you need anything, as always, you can drop into #services and ask the opers.
