The hell is this?

Dorksnet.org is the web site for the Dorksnet IRC network, which you can connect to by pointing your favorite IRC client to irc.dorksnet.org. If you need an IRC client, try mIRC. If you can't figure out how to use that or just want to see the place before you download anything, try our Java Client.

So what about the web page?

Well, we made this web page as a sort of community for our IRC user folk. It's got a database of our users and channels, news, a quote ratings site, forums, a webcam portal, and everything else we could think of putting in. Our site is coded in PHP/MySQL to create all sorts of dynamic content type stuff.

Dorksnet is home to a a diverse userbase of chatters. Most of us enjoy electronic gaming, but we've plenty of other interests as well. Click around our site and see.
